About Me
I began my journey into computer programming in elementary school, thanks to our computer teacher, Ümit Barışköse. He was an excellent educator. After school, he volunteered to provide programming lessons in the laboratory to those who were interested. My first project, that same year, was a model elevator I designed and programmed using Turbo Pascal. I had purchased a stepper motor from a scrapyard and used it to create this model elevator, which I could control by interfacing it with the parallel port, stopping it on the desired floor.
Programming had become a tremendous passion for me. I soon transformed into a dedicated child who didn't play outside and spent all my spare time honing my programming and electronic skills.
In my youth, obtaining information was quite challenging, and many of my questions remained unanswered. With the widespread availability of the internet in our country, I encountered the GNU manifesto and the Free Software Foundation (FSF). I connected with people through email groups and IRC who I could ask my questions to. By my first year of university, I was controlling my room with a self-developed artificial intelligence application. I closely witnessed most of the significant milestones in computer science.
At present, I have found answers to all the questions that piqued my curiosity. I have worked on numerous important projects in my career. Currently, I am developing Turkey's first IoT platform called 'Blueoperation' at Argeloji Engineering, a company I co-founded with three partners.
